OUR PRINCIPLES
Georgia Leadership Alliance works to advance policy and civic engagement on four key principles that matter most to families, businesses, and communities.
PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY
Georgians grow stronger when individuals accept responsibility for their lives, families, and communities. Personal responsibility encourages hard work, integrity, self-reliance, and service to others. Public policy should create opportunities for every individual to succeed through effort and initiative while encouraging active citizenship and community engagement. A society that values responsibility empowers individuals, strengthens our families, and builds lasting prosperity for future generations to come.
ACCOUNTABLE GOVERNANCE
Our founders' intent was for government to exist to protect the public interest, safeguard individual liberty, and provide essential public services with integrity and competence. It should exercise its responsibilities transparently, manage public resources wisely, and remain accountable to the people it serves. Every public dollar represents the hard work of Georgia's families, businesses, and taxpayers, and every decision should reflect a commitment to responsible stewardship, fiscal discipline, and measurable results.
ECONOMIC FREEDOM & OPEN MARKETS
Prosperity is built by entrepreneurs who take risks, workers who create value, farmers who steward the land, and businesses that invest in communities. Economic freedom flourishes with the opportunity to innovate, compete fairly, and pursue goals within a stable legal and regulatory environment. Public policy should encourage entrepreneurship, protect property rights, promote free enterprise, and remove barriers to economic growth, allowing Georgians to succeed through talent, initiative, and hard work.
FAMILY RIGHTS & COMMUNITY STRENGTH
Strong families are the foundation of strong communities. Parents should have meaningful opportunities to guide the education, development, and well-being of their children, while communities are strengthened through faith, civic engagement, volunteerism, and mutual support. Public policy should reinforce the institutions that help families flourish, encourage local leadership, and foster communities where individuals, businesses, schools, and civic organizations work together to improve quality of life.
THE CIVIC INFORMATION GAP
Georgians are increasingly disconnected from the state government that shapes their daily lives. Before Georgia can have principled leadership, citizens need to know who represents them and what is being decided on their behalf. Georgia Leadership Alliance bridges this information gap to help individuals engage civically and build stronger communities.
